If the enemy isn't wearing a gas mask, then the smoke will stun then silently for a brief period of time. Smoke grenades are great for fighting, but they can be useful in stealth if the targets aren't wearing gas masks. I try to bring them every time precisely because of that balance really useful, but really disruptive as well. Stun grenades are very useful for quick group take downs, both in stealth and in combat, but they're very loud. I try not to use them too much unless I'm deliberately attempting a harder play that requires a stronger weapon. However, if I go with a non-lethal LMG on my back, then I go for the non-lethal shotgun on my hips.įor gadgets, the most OP are the Sleep Grenades. If I make the decision to bring a sniper, I'll usually bring the non-lethal rifle to even things out. Nevertheless, I'll try and drop some of my go-to gadgets and weapons:įor strictly non-lethal, I like having a Tranquilizer side arm for stealth and something high impact for open fighting. Not to mention the player's own input of their preferred route or play style. The gameplay in MGSV is fluid and ever-changing.
